What a journey it’s been!
Today, we celebrate 3 years of the Pierre Thierry Noah Foundation, and we couldn’t be more proud of the impact we’ve made together—with our community, our partners, our supporters, and most of all, our Heroes.
Since our official registration in August 2022, our mission has remained the same: to provide equitable access to quality education for children in underserved areas of Cameroon. But our impact? It just keeps growing.
📚 Over 1,400 School Materials Distributed
From Saint-Cœur de Marie complex in Omvan to needy pupils in Buea, we’ve distributed more than 1,400 school materials to support learning and academic success. Textbooks for example are essential tools—but for many families, they are unaffordable. We’re closing that gap, one child at a time.
📉 68% Drop in Absenteeism & Dropouts at Omvan
Thanks to our continued support in Omvan, we’ve seen 68% fewer absentees and dropouts. Education is no longer a distant dream—it’s becoming a daily reality for more children, especially in rural settings.
🏆 100% Success Rate in Official Exams
Yes, you read that right: 100% of students at the Saint-Cœur de Marie complex passed their official exams! With better access to learning materials and consistent support, our Heroes are thriving—and proving what’s possible when potential meets opportunity.
🌟 Over 70 Special Awards Granted
Through our signature events—“Heroes’ Back to School” and “Heroes’ Christmas”—we’ve awarded more than 70 exceptional students across various schools, celebrating their dedication, improvement, and excellence. Because every child deserves to be recognized and celebrated.
🎒 Betta Place: Our Scholarization Project in Action
We launched Betta Place to provide sustained academic support to selected children—and the results are promising.
- +220 back-to-school materials distributed to 15 beneficiaries
- 80% of school-related expenses covered by the foundation
- 3 life-changing workshops on sustainable development, leadership, and hygiene
- 15 scholarships awarded, covering over half of each child’s school fees
